100% Chardonnay. Subtle caramel, smoky, with a sea salt character. Notes of Bosc pears and lemon rind. Taste is dryish, with a creamy mid-palate texture. Finishes long with a pleasantly soft but complex saline finish.
The Old Bill. Castel, Lucie Kuhlmann, Cab Foch, Pinot Noir. On the nose rich stewed fruit, black cherries, leather and cigar box. Treated in French, Hungarian and American oak, aging for 15 months.
In 2000, Pete Luckett purchased what at that time was a 92 acre open hay field overlooking the beautiful Gaspereau Valley in Nova Scotia.
Over the following decade he spent time understanding the unique climates surrounding the powerful Bay of Fundy...
It all began in the year 2000, when green-grocer turned grape-grower, founder Pete Luckett, bought a beautiful 92-acre farm in Wolfville and started planting some experimental grapevines
Fast forward to 2011: Luckett Vineyards opens its doors to the public for the first time. Today, The Luckett Vineyards family is over 70 people strong
The Vineyard produces over 15,000 cases of wine per year and hosts over a quarter million guests from all over the world
