100% Chardonnay. Subtle caramel, smoky, with a sea salt character. Notes of Bosc pears and lemon rind. Taste is dryish, with a creamy mid-palate texture. Finishes long with a pleasantly soft but complex saline finish. Pairs nicely with charcuterie, rich local seafood, and slow roasted meats.
Castel, Lucie Kuhlmann, Cab Foch, Pinot Noir. On the nose rich stewed fruit, black cherries, leather and cigar box. Taste is bold, full-bodied, red ripe black fruit and strong tannic structure. Treated in French, Hungarian and American oak, aging for 15 months. Enjoy with roasted red meat, grilled steaks and hearty stews.
